We’re partnering with a well-established civil contractor to appoint a Senior Estimator in Bendigo . This is a broad role with real influence across tenders, bid strategy and process improvement, working across a diverse mix of civil projects.
Project types include earthworks, roads, pavements, drainage, water and general civil works .
The role
- Lead tenders from initial review through to submission
- Prepare take-offs, BOQs, cost plans and pricing
- Manage subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Review methodology, risks and commercial opportunities
- Support tender handover to delivery teams
- Mentor junior staff and add value across the function
- Estimating experience in civil construction or infrastructure
- Strong exposure to roads, drainage, earthworks, pavements, water or utilities
- Able to manage multiple tenders across varied project types
- Commercially sound, practical and contractor-minded
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
