This is an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Civil Estimator to step into a busy regional contractor and support live tenders across a varied civil project pipeline.
The assignment is expected to run for 2–3 months , with flexibility to work remotely 3–4 days per week and attend the Bendigo office 1–2 days per week .

- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and scope requirements
- Prepare estimates, take-offs, BOQs and pricing submissions
- Source and assess subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Identify commercial risks, exclusions, opportunities and methodology issues
- Coordinate tender inputs with project and delivery teams
- Support tender handover and variation pricing where required
- Proven estimating experience in civil construction or infrastructure
- Strong exposure to roads, drainage, earthworks, pavements, water or utilities
- Ability to work autonomously and get across tenders quickly
- Strong understanding of subcontractor pricing and commercial risk
- Confident using estimating software, Excel and digital take-off tools
- Available immediately or at short notice, with capacity to attend Bendigo weekly
