As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the successful delivery of a diverse range of projects through your technical knowledge and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed structural designs based on project and client requirements.
- Conduct advanced structural analysis using programs such as RAPT, Strand7, and ETABS.
- Manage client and stakeholder relationships, ensuring smooth communication and alignment on project goals.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Undertake site inspections to inform and validate design decisions.
- Mentor junior engineers and support staff, and coordinate technical inputs across disciplines.
- Work with relative autonomy while collaborating within a supportive team.
- 6+ years of structural engineering experience within a consulting environment.
- Proficient in using relevant structural analysis software such as RAPT, Strand7, and ETABS.
- Solid understanding of Australian building codes and standards.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Confident managing stakeholders and leading components of project delivery.
- Committed to mentoring and developing junior staff.
