Structural Design Leadership
$120K-$130K+ package (negotiable)
We're working with a well-established structural consultancy located in Melbourne's southeastern suburbs , currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their growing team.
The Role:
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will:
- Lead the design and delivery of high-rise residential , mixed-use , or commercial buildings , or projects of similar complexity.
- Work closely with architects, builders, and clients to ensure smooth project coordination and communication.
- Produce and review detailed structural documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a positive and technically strong team culture.
- Participate in design reviews, site inspections, and issue resolution during construction.
- 5-8 years' experience in structural engineering, with exposure to high-rise buildings or large/complex projects.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to manage projects independently.
- Comfortable using major structural design software (e.g. ETABS, RAPT, SpaceGass, etc.).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with clients and project teams.
- Relevant degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; CPEng desirable but not essential.
- Work on challenging, large-scale projects in a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Salary package in the range of $120K-$130K , negotiable based on experience.
