The Opportunity You’ll play a key role in delivering hydrology and hydraulics outcomes across a diverse project portfolio, working alongside experienced civil and environmental engineers. This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone who can operate autonomously, contribute immediately, and support project delivery at a senior level.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and deliver hydrology & hydraulic modelling packages
- Apply RORB and TUFLOW to real-world flood and drainage challenges
- Prepare high-quality technical reports for clients and authorities
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams on design and approvals
- Engage with stakeholders, including councils and relevant authorities
- 6–8+ years’ experience in water resources engineering
- Degree qualified in Engineering
- CPEng and RPEV (essential)
- Strong hands-on capability with:
- RORB
- TUFLOW
- GIS tools
- Technical report writing
- Proven ability to “hit the ground running” in a consulting environment
- Familiarity with the Victorian market, including exposure to Melbourne Water requirements (highly regarded)
