Working closely with senior leadership, you will become a trusted advisor to clients while leading the delivery of complex building structures projects across Victoria.
About the Role
You will take ownership of projects from concept through to completion, acting as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, and project stakeholders. The role will involve:
- Leading the delivery of structural design projects across multiple sectors.
- Managing client relationships and maintaining a high level of service.
- Preparing fee proposals and assisting with project scoping and commercial management.
- Coordinating project teams and mentoring junior engineers.
- Identifying and pursuing business development opportunities.
- Working closely with directors to support the continued growth of the business.
- Contributing to strategic decisions and helping drive the next stage of the company's expansion.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Approximately 5-10 years of structural engineering experience within a consulting environment.
- Strong experience delivering concrete building structures projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in mid-rise and high-rise developments.
- Experience with post-tensioned slab design.
- Proven ability to manage projects and maintain strong client relationships.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of project profitability.
- Experience preparing fee proposals and contributing to winning work.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative, team-focused approach and a genuine desire to contribute to business growth.
- Degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering.
