This is an immediate contract opportunity for a Site Engineer to support delivery on a major road project in Melbourne. The broader program includes new lanes, retaining walls, upgraded interchanges, smart motorway technology and improved walking and cycling connections as part of a major transport infrastructure upgrade.
Working within an experienced project team, you’ll support day-to-day site delivery across civil, roads, earthworks, drainage, retaining walls, utilities and associated structures .
The role will suit someone who can coordinate subcontractors, manage technical and quality requirements, and link progress, productivity and cost performance into short-term planning and 4-week look-aheads.

- Support safe, compliant and efficient delivery in line with project requirements and milestones
- Experience as a Site Engineer on major civil, road or transport infrastructure projects
- Background in roads, bulk earthworks, drainage, structures, retaining walls or utilities
Strong capability in short-term programming, look-aheads, site coordination and technical delivery - Ability to monitor quantities, productivity and cost impacts alongside delivery progress
- Experience working for a Tier 1 contractor or major infrastructure delivery business highly regarded
- Relevant civil engineering qualification and strong working knowledge of quality and safety systems
