A long-established upper-tier Subdivisions contractor delivering superlot subdivision projects to developers across the north and west of Melbourne. A brilliant name in the industry with brand new offices in the north of Melbourne.
Experience running multi-stage land development projects from end to end is a mandatory experience requirement of this role.
The role
- Reporting to the Project Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility to run a project
- Oversee works onsite including bulk earthworks, drainage, electrical, roads and pavements.
- Coordinating site activities, dealing with councils, OH&S, scheduling resources and machinery
- Delegate various crews to activities during daily toolbox talks
- Be the Health and Safety advocate, maintaining a culture of safe practices
- Liaise with clients, councils, consultants, and relevant authorities for project progress and updates
- Implement project plans and programming
- 5+ years of experience as a Civil Supervisor in large land development projects in Australia
- Strong understanding of bulk earthworks, drainage, and road construction (advantageous)
- Degree in Construction/Engineering
- Experience in multistage subdivisions construction projects up to $40 million
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent time management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Appropriate IT skills
