Structural Engineer – Post-Tension (PT) Slab Design

Well-established structural engineering consultancy with a strong pipeline of residential and commercial building projects is seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer with proven Post-Tension (PT) slab design experience .

The Role

• Structural design and analysis of post-tensioned concrete slabs
• Design of associated reinforced concrete elements (beams, columns, footings, shear walls)
• Deliver PT slab packages using RamConcept, RAPT or similar software
• Coordinate with structural drafters to produce documentation
• Liaise with architects, builders and clients
• Provide occasional site inspections and construction support
• Assist in delivering projects on time and within budget

Requirements

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Engineers Australia accredited)
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in structural consulting
• Demonstrated experience in PT slab design
• Experience on medium-scale residential and commercial projects
• Strong understanding of Australian Standards
• Clear communication skills and attention to detail

Salary package: $90,000 – $120,000 + Super (depending on experience)
