A national engineering consultancy has recently expanded its operations and opened a new office in Melbourne. Due to continued project growth, they are looking to bring on a Structural Engineer with data centre or similar complex project experience to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging, high-value projects within a growing team that is building its presence in Victoria.
The Role You will be involved in the design and delivery of mission-critical and complex building structures, working closely with a collaborative team of engineers and drafters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Structural analysis and design of concrete and steel structures
- Working on data centres or similar technically complex projects
- Preparation of structural calculations, reports, and documentation
- Coordinating with architects, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Supporting project delivery from concept through to detailed design
- ETABS
- SAP2000
- SAFE
- SpaceGass
- AutoCAD
- Revit
About You
- 4+ years’ experience working as a Structural Engineer
- Experience working on data centres, mission-critical facilities, or similar complex building structures
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structural design
- Background working within a consulting engineering environment
- Based in Melbourne or willing to commute to the CBD
