A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking an experienced, creative and proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its People & Capability function in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping workforce strategy, building talent pipelines, and delivering exceptional candidate experiences across a diverse national business.
About the Role
This position is ideal for a recruitment professional who thrives on connecting with people, building relationships, and driving innovative sourcing strategies. You will take ownership of end-to-end recruitment activities, with a strong focus on direct sourcing, workforce planning, and employer branding.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing full-cycle recruitment across a variety of technical and corporate roles
- Proactively sourcing candidates via platforms such as LinkedIn and Seek
- Building and maintaining talent pipelines, particularly for hard-to-fill and regional roles
- Partnering with external agencies to ensure seamless hiring processes
- Leading graduate recruitment programs, including attraction campaigns and assessment centres
- Developing relationships with universities and industry networks to enhance early talent engagement
- Supporting employer branding initiatives across social media and professional channels
- Delivering recruitment reporting and insights to inform hiring strategies
- Coaching hiring managers on best practice interviewing, inclusive hiring, and unconscious bias
You are a confident and collaborative recruitment professional with a passion for delivering high-quality hiring outcomes and candidate care. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Key requirements:
- Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition of white collar roles (agency and/or in-house)
- Strong sourcing capability and creative candidate engagement strategies
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment analytics
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A genuine interest in employer branding and candidate experience
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices
