We are partnering with a highly regarded private firm in Melbourne seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader – Landscape Architecture to drive innovation and lead a talented team, allowing the Director to win more work.
This firm is renowned for its expertise across landscape masterplans, feasibility studies, concept and design documentation, planting design, horticulture, project management, and contract administration. They work with some of Victoria and Queensland’s most respected developers, shaping master-planned greenfield and brownfield sites, including residential communities, commercial precincts, education hubs, and rooftop gardens.

About the Role
As the Team Leader, Landscape Architecture , you will:
- Lead and inspire a team of 3 Landscape Architects
- Oversee and drive project and program management across an impressive portfolio.
- Guide projects through the full design lifecycle
- Play a key role in business development, identifying and supporting new opportunities alongside Directors.
- Contribute to strategic leadership, attending key meetings focused on company growth, operations, and innovation
- Circa 8+ years' experience in Landscape Architecture within a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
- Evidence partnering with leading developers, not just architects.
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing and mentoring teams.
- Expertise in greenfield master planning
- Proficiency using design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite) is highly desirable.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative and results-driven mindset.
- Ability to foster relationships with key clients - business development of existing clients.
