About the Role:
Aspect Personnel has been engaged by a boutique property consultancy specialising in town planning and development advisory. With offices in Brisbane and Melbourne, they deliver high-quality, commercially focused advice tailored to each client’s project needs.
We are seeking a Town Planner to join their dynamic team, contributing to a wide range of development projects across residential, commercial and retail sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a reputable, stable employer renowned for low staff turnover and a well executed business plan that enables staff to grow and diversify.
Technical Skills Required:
- Support the development strategy and manage planning applications.
- Draft application materials, correspondence, and reports.
- Engage and coordinate various consultants, ensuring project success.
- Understand and apply core and relevant legislation and statutory planning requirements.
- Undertake site investigations, due diligence, and provide general planning advice.
- Support the management of multiple projects at one time, ensuring delivery within scope and budget.
- Support the draft of fee proposals, tenders, and contribute to financial oversight of projects.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders to drive project success.
- Proven experience in Development Applications with a strong understanding of legislation, statutory requirements, and policy research.
- Circa 18 months Queensland experience to ensure you fit in with ease.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, government bodies, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience managing town planning projects, drafting proposals, and adhering to project budgets.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with an analytical approach to resolving planning issues.
- A passion to learn, a can-do attitude and a team first mentality.

Salary Range
Expect a competitive salary of $80,000 + super + perks.
