A growing multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a motivated Town Planner to join their Bendigo office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Planner looking to build their experience across a diverse range of land development and planning projects while working alongside experienced industry professionals.

You’ll gain exposure to planning permits, client liaison, stakeholder engagement and development projects that help shape communities across regional Victoria.

The Role
As the Town Planner, you will be involved in:
  • Preparing and managing planning permit applications
  • Assisting with land development and statutory planning projects
  • Liaising with Councils, referral authorities, clients, and stakeholders
  • Contributing to planning reports and project documentation
  • Supporting project delivery across residential, commercial, and community developments
  • Assisting with masterplanning and development approval processes
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
About You
We’re open to candidates who are early in their careers and looking to grow, ideally with:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or a related discipline
  • Approximately 1–3 years’ experience within a statutory planning environment. 
  • A genuine interest in land development and urban growth
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • You reside in or near Bendigo, as this role will suit someone willing to come into the office to collaborate and learn. 
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence
Experience or involvement with organisations such as PIA, UDIA or VPELA will be highly regarded.
