You’ll be joining a collaborative team to facilitate quality urban design led outcomes in the public and private realm that improve the functionality, liveability, sustainability and public contribution of places and spaces.

What you’ll be doing:
- Lead or contribute to the design of streetscape upgrades, masterplans, and other public realm projects.
- Deliver the local activity centre renewal program, including the prioritization of design and delivery works to update local shopping strips.
- Manage the procurement of external design and civil engineering consultants required for various stages of assigned projects.
- Provide design advice to the Capital Works and Strategic Property & Projects teams.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants, community members and other Local Councils.
What we’re looking for:
- Qualification in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Civil Design or similar
- Experience working on public realm or local government projects
- Ability to produce strong design concepts and clear visual presentations
- Strong in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InDesign and other relevant software.
- Ability to liaise with professionally trained staff and contractors
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with community engagement is highly regarded
- Positive attitude and desire to contribute to a culture of teamwork and high performance.
