Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an organised and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to join their team at their Hallam facility.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day coordination of the warehouse and yard, ensuring stock, equipment and customer orders are managed safely, accurately and efficiently.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership, leading by example and contributing to a high-performing operational team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating daily warehouse and yard operations.
- Managing inventory, stock movements and inventory accuracy.
- Loading and unloading inbound and outbound deliveries using forklifts and warehouse equipment.
- Preparing customer orders for dispatch while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Coordinating local deliveries using a company vehicle and trailer when required.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse and yard environment.
- Conducting routine inspections of equipment, vehicles and warehouse facilities.
- Working closely with Operations and Production to ensure customer delivery requirements are achieved.
- Assisting with inventory management, cycle counts and stock control activities.
- Identifying opportunities to improve warehouse processes, layout and operational efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
About You
To be successful, you will bring:
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Coordinator, Warehouse Supervisor, Yard Coordinator or similar operational role.
- Experience working within manufacturing, logistics, warehousing or industrial environments.
- Current LF Forklift Licence.
- Current Driver's Licence (manual preferred).
- Experience operating forklifts and coordinating daily warehouse activities.
- Exposure to inventory management, stock control and dispatch processes.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach.
- A proactive, hands-on attitude with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
- Experience towing trailers will be highly regarded but is not essential.
