Our client is a well-known Construction company based in the inner suburbs.
They are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager/Officer to join their team on a part-time basis.
You will be working 3 days per week, Monday to Wednesday. There’s also the opportunity for the right candidate to work flexible hours over 5 days.
The Role
- Process the weekly pay run and expense claims for up to 100 wage and salary staff.
- Process monthly payroll tax including year-end reconciliation.
- Manage staff Workcover.
- Processing of superannuation, payroll tax, worker's compensation, etc.
- Onboarding, including organising medical checks, setting up employees on timesheet app etc.
- EBA management, keeping up to date with EBA changes, record requirements etc.
- Return to work management.
About You
- Ensuring that records and processes comply with company and legal regulations.
- Understanding of the building and construction award, all legal obligations under the NES, Fair work and Award Free employees.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite and payroll software (Currently Jobpac).
- Possess an inquiring mind with the ability to recommend process improvements.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge, understanding and ability to implement internal payroll procedures.
