The Role
You will be engaged in end-to-end pricing to delivery and your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.
- Manage up to 5 site crews on various concurring projects
- Resolve technical challenges, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimise their impact on project delivery.
- Engage with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure project progress is effectively communicated and any issues are promptly addressed.
- Ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, and conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with specifications.
- Bid for new work in pricing and tendering
- Providing guidance and mentoring to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction will be highly valued
- 3-5 years as a Project Manager or similar role in civil construction
- Ability to price estimate a job for tender submission using industry-leading estimate platforms
- Experience delivering specifically Drainage and Earthworks up to $1 million
- Strong ability to develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Proficient in using project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to think critically.
