Our client is a highly successful building services consultancy, located approximately 10min from Melbourne's CBD. This organisation has been involved with many school projects, due to the Rudd Governments national building plan; they have a vast amount of future projects within this field.
This midsize consultancy has a very low staff turnover, as they pride themselves on having a relaxed, friendly and family orientated work environment.
 
This position will allow the successful candidate to utilise both their design and management skills on a daily basis.
 
Hydraulic design and documentation for a range of projects - not just education, will include commercial, residential, healthcare and some industrial buildings. With projects also based overseas, the design elements of this position will never feel boring or repetitive.
 
As a senior member of staff your proven management abilities will also be required. You will be responsible for bidding and tenders, business development, project management, training junior staff members and assisting with the overall performance and direction of the company to ensure ongoing future success.
 
You will be required to have previous experience in a similar senior or associate position - within building services, be tertiary qualified, have outstanding communication and networking skills, a solid understanding of Australian Standards and the ability to look at the big picture.
