Founded over 60 years ago, this company is a growing Civil Contractor that
specialise in projects across the Civil, Remediation, Bulk Earthworks, Landfill, Wastewater and Waterways projects.
This company has a consistent pipeline of projects and are actively seeking to expand their team throughout 2024.
Role
This role would be either a 12-month contract, or a permanent position for the right candidate, delivering a $11M Tailing Storage Facility project in Heathcote, Victoria.
This role would be 100% site based and would be suitable for someone who either lives nearby or happy to stay close by throughout the duration of the project.
This is also a role that would suit people interested in doing FIFO works or require sponsorship.
Typical responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
- Develop a comprehensive plan outlining objectives, scope schedule and risk management objectives
- Allocate resources and machinery accordingly, whilst coordinating relevant labor and equipment
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to combat these risks
- Create and maintain OH&S procedures and measures
Requirements
- Experience delivering a large scale Dam Construction or Bulk Earthworks projects
- Experience coordinating heavy machinery on large scale sites
- Good understanding of the environmental and quality factors on a similar like project
- Solutions focused mentality
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Live nearby Heathcote or happy to relocate
