- Responsible for assessing a variety of planning applications
- 3 month contract - possibility of extension
- Hourly rate depending on experience
- Hybrid role
As a Statutory Town Planner you will be required to assess and process various planning permit applications. Typical planning applications will include but are not limited to:-
- Dual occupancies
- Large residential and industrial subdivisions
- Major Advertising Signs
- Liquor License
- Car parking dispensation to facilitate different types of use
As the ideal candidate you will have:
- A degree in Town Planning, or relevant qualifications/experience
- A solid understanding of the Victorian Planning Schemes, Planning Legislation and state, regional and local planning strategies
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Previous experience working for a Victorian Council will be advantageous.
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hybrid role
- Hourly rate negotiable
- Must be able to hit the ground running
- Laptop provided
- 3 & 6 month contracts available
- Possibility of being extended or going permanent also
