Aspect Personnel are working with a council in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs to recruit a Transport Engineer/Transport Planner for an initial 3 month contract role.
You will be responsible for developing councils LATM and analysing and reporting on transport studies.
Hybrid working arrangement available (2 days office based / 2 days WFH)

- Developing and implementing strategic transport strategies policies (integrated transport, bicycle & road safety)
- Developing solutions to transport network issues
- Project managing external consultants
- Liaison with state government & external stakeholders
As the ideal candidate you will have/be:
- A Transport Engineer/Planner, ideally with experience within a Local Government work environment
- Ability to develop solutions to transportation network issues
- Previous experience developing integrated transport strategies
- Demonstrated experience investigating and developing traffic strategies
- A solid understanding of local government principles and practices
- A current drivers license
